In the late 1970s, The Stimulators, whose original line-up featured Denise Mercedes, Anne Gustavsson, Patrick Mack, and child drum prodigy Harley Flanagan, attracted a following with young NYC music fans that were drawn to the band’s punk sound.
In 1980 The Stimulators recorded the single Loud Fast Rules, with the title coming from words then-bassist Nick Marden had written on the back of his motorcycle jacket.
