Rolling Stone’s has been saying Dylan’s recents set lists overseas have been getting interesting as he pulls out “Highway 61” classics he hasn’t played in years.
Born in Minnesota, he officially became Bob Dylan in New York, changing his name in court.
In his memoir “Chronicles” Dylan wrote of his early years in Greenwich Villages, “America was changing. I had a feeling of destiny and I was riding the changes. New York was as good a place to be as any.”
